1990 Ellicott 370 Dragon Series Cutter Suction Dredge for sale. It currently has 8,500 operating hours from 2019 to the present.
- Suction pump is nearly new
- Entire flotation has recently been replaced
- Motor has been recently overhauled
- Includes 500 meters of discharge pipe
The dredge is in good working order, as the suction pump (including the bearing housing and shaft) was completely replaced in 2021, the hydraulic pump was also replaced in 2021, and the entire flotation was recently replaced with 1/4-inch thick carbon steel plates coated with RP6 primer and RP5 black coal tar.
The valve bank was replaced in 2022. The engine is a Caterpillar 3406, recently overhauled with a partial repair in 2023, and all maintenance is performed every 200 operating hours. The cutter base is reinforced with H10 hard-coated welding.
She was operating in a freshwater sandbank (lagoon) with an average extraction rate of 150 cubic meters per hour, its last day of extraction being August 15, 2024. |
