This 8-inch Rebuilt Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) was completely overhauled in 2014. The dredger is compact, easy to transport and capable of a wide range of activities like maintenance dredging, sand winning and gravel winning. By means of the extensive renovation a KISS (keep it simple sir) type modern dredger is created by the former owner which means it will do the same productions as a brand new dredger of this size. The whole dredger can be transported with two or three trucks depending on their size.

General Description
The dredger consists of a main pontoon and two side pontoons. Attached to the two side pontoons
on both sides are tubular floats for added stability and buoyancy. Both main and side pontoons are
made of steel and strengthened with beams and stringers which are welded through. In the front
compartment of the pontoon there are two heavy attachment points for the ladder and suction pipe
and the entrance of the strengthened rubber suction hose.
The main pontoon has a higher front deck after which a steel control cabin is placed with a removal
top part which means narrow passages under bridges etc. can be easily achieved. The remaining part
of the main pontoon concerns the engine/pump room containing at the aft side a fixed diesel tank of
approximately 600 liters (159 gallons). In the basic cabin all required control units for operating the
dredger are available.
A dredging ladder for suction operation and/or  cutter suction operation is available. The cutter ladder
has a 5 bladed VOSTA cutter with demountable cutter teeth on each blade. The cutter shaft is laid in
a rubber bearing bushing and driven by a planetary gearbox by a hydraulic engine.
In front of the operating cabin are placed on a frame 4 hydraulic winches   for the PS- and SB side wire,
the Front wire and the Ladder wire. On the front edge of the main pontoon are two heavy connection
eyes for the A-frame of the ladder. This A-frame is constructed of steel en connected with two steel wires
to heavy connection points on the deck housing.
On the top of the deck housing there is one small and one large hatch and on SB side an entrance to
the engine / pump room. On the P side the steel pumping line is coming up and lead to the back of the
dredger where it can be connected to a rubber hose for connection to the floating line.
On the P side aft of the dredger are two heavy guidance rollers in case and Aft wire is required. On top
of the deck housing is a large exhaust muffler. The side pontoons are demountable and connected to the
main pontoon by means of two bottom hooks and two top bolted plates. The deck of the side pontoons
each have 2 boulders and lifting eyes.
In the engine room the dredging pump and the main engine are placed amidships. SB side aft is an
hydraulic oil tank. In the middle aft two large water intake and water filters going through the bottom
hull for suctioning up the required cooling water. The engine is cooled directly. P side aft there are two
start and light batteries together with some storage cabins and a small workbench.
The dredger is compact, easy to transport and capable of a wide range of activities like maintenance
dredging, sand winning and gravel winning. By means of the extensive renovation a KISS (keep it simple
sir) type modern dredger is created by the former owner which means it will do the same productions as
a brand new dredger of this size.
The whole dredger can be transported with two or three trucks depending on their size.
