The dredge hull was built in 1999. The crane was built in the 1960’s and had a complete rebuild 2021 and 2022. The dredge is a conventional configuration, all welded steel construction, single skin, non self-propelled deck barge which is outfitted for dredging operations. The vessel is set up to be worked on (3) spuds, or using the four point anchor mooring system. Max dredging depth reported to be 100’. The crane is a fixed base rotating Clyde model 28-DE-65 diesel electric powered whirley crane. Fitted with (4) tip over roller hooks. Fitted with three section welded boom, consisting of angle chords and tubular lacings. Crane pedestal recently fully renewed, zinc coated only. Buckets include 7CY ANVIL Heavy Duty Digging Bucket, 9CY ERIE Heavy Duty Digging Bucket and a 7CY ANVIL Heavy Duty Digging Bucket.
The dump scow is a conventional configuration, all welded steel construction, non self-propelled split hull dump scow, built and maintained by ABS class requirements for unrestricted service. The hull is conventionally framed and stiffened for type. Machinery deckhouse is found on the aft end of the starboard hull. Power for the hydraulics is provided by a four (4) cylinder Cummins model KTA4 (100HP) diesel engine, coupled to a Denison hydraulic pump with remote control unit.
