This 199-man Accommodation Work Barge w/ 150-tonne Crane was built in 1964 and was rebuilt in 2009, and its Classification Society and Notation is ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), (IACS Class), Accommodation Barge. In 2009, Major dry-dock modification and replacement of 300 tons steel was carried out under ABS class and issued with RB 2009 (rebuilt) notation. This is a former pipelay barge but the pipelay machinery was removed in order to add accommodations. The pipelaying machinery can be restored prior to sale or an agreeable charter contract.
In 2013 the barge was once again dry-docked with major modifications and installed with a Brand New Accommodation Block to meet European Standard. She has just returned in 2016 after 3 years from charter and is presently berthed.
The Barge is currently laid up and dry-docking is due. The owners require 30-days to recommission the barge, and deliver them with a fresh set of certificates.
