2002 model. Built longer than full length side tanks to extend the hull to 48′ LOA and 21′ WOA, they connect to the existing hull with Ellicott OEM hook and socket connections at the bottom similar to the 670 model and bolted connections above deck. The perimeter of the deck is fitted with 1.5″ speed rail. Because of the added width the dredge has more than double the usable deck space and is much more stable in moderate seas and has about 4″ of additional freeboard.
Original Length Over All: 36’L x 12’W x 4’D
Modified Dimensions: 48’L x 21’W x 4’D
A removeable ladder extension was added to achieve a 42′ digging depth. The extension required the addition of an A-frame with a catwalk and a ladder winch so in the 20′ digging configuration the dredge utilizes the factory ladder cylinder and the a frame and winch in the 42′ configuration.
A section was added to the factory hydraulic pump so the dredge has the ability to power a carriage cylinder on an idler barge or another auxiliary hydraulic component.
The dredge has 2 sets of spuds, 35′ for shallow dredging and 50′ for deep dredging.
The factory CAT 3406 was replaced with a C15 in 2020. The factory AC was removed the and replaced with a domestic 110v unit. Installed 110v deck lighting and receptacles in the lever room for onboard electronics (generator required based on Kw needed).
Beyond these modifications the dredge is factory spec.
