Key features include:
- low cost per cubic metre
- an exceptional rate of pumping power
- 16/12HG-II-(7)-850R-230-РЕТ pump that combines high efficiency and a large ball passage to provide a high level of availability. These pumps have a high efficiency coefficient (up to 85%), and as the pumps of the previous group compare favorably to analogues produced by western companies by reinforced construction, increased reliability, loyalty to the “domestic” approach of equipment maintenance, “indestructibility” and “foolproof
- low maintenance and efficient power distribution with a single diesel engine

LEVER ROOM
The lever room measures 1800mm x 1900mm x 1900mm. All glass is LEXON 500 with 360 visibility. An upholstered seat is provided for the operator. The lever room is finished with a paneled interior.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The electrical system consists of a 24-volt 65-amp alternator and a 220 amp/hr battery. The wring is a complete circuit with one (1) wire to ground through a full breaker panel. The lighting consists of seven (7) floodlights that are mounted on the dredge. Lighting is also provided in the engine/pump compartment, on the instrument panel and overhead in the lever room.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Caterpillar
The hydraulic pump is a 2-section pump that provides service to the cutterhead motor, swing winches, spud
winches and ladder winch. The hydraulic system is protected by relief valves and the system has replaceable inline filters. The hydraulic system has an approximate capacity of 600 liters.
SERVICE PUMP
The service pump is provided to supply flushing water to the dredge pump packing gland, water to the cutter drive bearings and for a use at a deck connection. The pump is a 650 mm x 500 mm and has rated 8 liters per second.
DETAILS OF HULL CONSTRUCTION
The hull is composed of three (3) compartments. The center compartment is the engine and pump compartment. The other (2) two compartments are the side tanks; also know as sponson tanks or pontoons. The side tanks are framed with angle iron and truss type cross bracings. The plate is then welded inside and outside for structural integrity. The tanks are then pressure tested for leakage. The side tanks are assembled to form the engine and pump compartment. The hull is then turned right side up and the interior bracing is installed to accept the mounting of the engine, pump and other components. The bottom of the hull is constructed from 6mm. The lever room and the pump/engine room enclosure are constructed from 5 mm.
A light and compact dredge can easily maneuver on water, lift, easily tow onto the sand mining location. The attached blueprint shows the real dimensions, picture is illustrative. The dredge is designed so that one person could operate and cater to it. The soil pump is new generation which at low power provides great productivity of sand and saves fuel costs. We mostly use components from Caterpillar (main engine, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, hydraulic safety valves, hydraulic hose connections, etc.) which in return brings quick and easy maintenance from CAT. There is international warranty on the components. Spare parts for the pump, ripper and engine are always available at the manufacturers warehouse. Upon ordering spare parts they will be sent out in 1-2 days. Additionally we can send spare parts and components to your warehouse.
The central pontoon and cabin is transported on a platform (1pc. FLAT TRACK CONTAINER 40), all other pontoons and components will be packed into a closed container (3pc’s. 40′ HC DRY CUBE CONTAINERS).
The dredger will be tested in a sand pit and certified by the Estonian Maritime Department, which operates according to European laws and standards.
